November, 2001
As of this quarter, the Regional Review will be changing its look,
content, and format. We are putting the newsletter on a quarterly
update, and will have the PRRC's review newsletter as part of this
quarterly report. We no longer have the Permian and San Juan Reports,
but we still plan on having reports of well activity, prices, and
rig activity. The format is still in development, but this month
you can view our new well activity report.
We will also be carrying the PRRC's
semiannual newsletter here as a way to provide more information to
our users about what is going on at the Petroleum Recovery Research
Center.

New Coalbed Methane Manual Available
The manual builds upon prior PTTC efforts and Dwayne McCune's
experience as a coalbed methane consultant. Some of the key
sections are: properties of coal, the occurrence of natural gas in
coal, reservoir engineering characteristics of coalbed methane
production, completing and equipping methane wells, and developing and
managing the coalbed methane prospect. If you have questions or
would like to purchase a copy of this manual, contact Dwane
McCune.
